"Local author Ben Costello will be join author/film historian Julie AnnReam for GUNSMOKE NIGHT - a tribute to the legendary Western TV Show January 4th at the HiDesert Nature Museum for the Morongo Basin Historical Society. Julie was born into Hollywood - her grandfather was Taylor "Cactus Mack" McPeters and she is also related to Rex Allen and Glenn Strange, who played Sam the bartender on GUNSMOKE. Ben wrote the award-winning book GUNSMOKE: AN AMERICAN INSTITUTION and together, both he and Julie contributed to the book PERFECTLY AMANDA - the story of Amanda Blake who played Miss Kitty onGUNSMOKE. Ben and Julie have plenty of stories to share and special Hollywood guests who worked on both sides of the camera from the show will be on hand to add their perspectives on GUNSMOKE."
